The wire is the connector that makes the exterior assembly (the front part) and interior assembly (the back part) work as a whole.
If the keypad or fingerprint doesn’t work correctly, but the Xthings Home(Formerly U home) app can still control the lock, the problem might be caused by the wire being loose or needing to be reconnected.

1) Open the battery cover and take out the batteries.
2) Unscrew the screws in the battery box.
3) Disconnect and Reconnect the Keypad Wire.
