US Cylinder communicates with the phone app within approximately 3 meters. Permission changes can be created away from the lock, but a phone must return to Bluetooth range to synchronize them.
No Wi-Fi, remote unlocking, Matter, Apple Home, Alexa, or Google Assistant support.

One CR123A battery supports an estimated 8,000 unlock operations. A buzzer and red LED signal low power, while a 5V USB Type-C connection provides emergency power.

Can I unlock it remotely?
No. App unlocking is local over Bluetooth within approximately 3 meters.
Does it work with smart-home platforms?
No. US Cylinder does not support Wi-Fi, Matter, Apple Home, Alexa, or Google Assistant.
What happens when the battery is low?
A buzzer and red LED provide a low-battery warning. You can use a mechanical key or supply 5V emergency power through USB Type-C.
What tools are required?
Use Phillips and flat-head screwdrivers together with the supplied installation tool.
Can it be rekeyed?
No. US Cylinder does not support rekeying.
