How Secure is U-cloud & U home App?
1. U-cloud server constructs in Amazon's AWS, which feature the best data security and reliability in the world.
2. AES-256 has encrypted all data on the cloud.
3. All data communication between U-cloud and U home App，u-cloud, and Wi-Fi devices is based on TLS (Transport Layer Security) and AES encryption (Advanced Encryption Standard).
4. Strict password requirements are used to keep accounts safe.
5. Account authentication over a secure HTTPS connection prevents interception
6. Login attempts are limited (a maximum of five login attempts over five minutes) to prevent bots from guessing your password.
7. U home APP uses Bluetooth® LE technology encryption and an additional encryption mode to secure the connection between the app and the device.
8. If the user deletes their account, all data will be deleted on the cloud.

Cloud Server Infrastructure
Our U-cloud server infrastructure is built on Amazon's AWS, a globally recognized platform known for its exceptional data security and reliability. By leveraging this infrastructure, we ensure that your data is stored in a secure environment.
To ensure the highest level of security, all our servers are deployed using a private Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). This means that the services we provide to the public are accessed through an API gateway, which acts as a proxy to publish these services. This setup allows for the physical isolation of data and services, ensuring that unauthorized access is prevented.
Furthermore, we have implemented a client connection circuit breaker mechanism. This mechanism effectively handles abnormal access to our services, safeguarding against any potential disruptions or unauthorized usage.

- Cloud provides different data storage services for different business scenarios. Customer or user data is encrypted using AES256 for storage. An additional layer of AES encryption is applied to sensitive user data, and necessary data anonymization techniques are applied to specific sensitive data. The encryption keys are centrally managed and distributed through a key management center for unified security management.
For sensitive media types of user information, such as images or videos, U-cloud generates unique key pairs based on specific users and specific devices to encrypt and protect the files.
Secure Data Communication
The communication channels between U-cloud and U home App, as well as between U-cloud and Wi-Fi devices, are protected using TLS (Transport Layer Security) and AES encryption (Advanced Encryption Standard). These encryption protocols ensure that your data remains confidential during transmission.
Strong Password Requirements
To enhance account security, we enforce strict password requirements. By setting strong passwords, users can significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized access to their accounts.
Account Authentication

Login Attempt Limitations
We have implemented a login attempt limitation system to prevent malicious entities from guessing passwords. Users are allowed a maximum of five login attempts within a five-minute timeframe, effectively mitigating the risk of brute-force attacks.
U home App Security
The U home App utilizes Bluetooth® LE technology encryption and an additional encryption mode to establish a secure connection between the app and the associated device. This ensures that the communication between the app and the device remains confidential and protected.
Account Deletion
In the event that a user decides to delete their account, we ensure that all associated data is permanently removed from the U-cloud. This deletion process guarantees that your data is no longer accessible or retained.
